Hunting camels is prohibited.
In the mid-19th century, the US military once experimented with camels in the Arizona desert, using them to perform the work normally carried out by mules and horses. Camels could do the same work with less need for water, and they could carry twice the load of a mule. Eventually the Army was done with them, and they were either sold to private parties or released into the desert. This law was passed to protect them. Could there still be any roaming free?
