Toads may not be licked.
The toad that is referenced in this law secretes a drug-like poison that some people were licking to get “high”.
It is illegal to posses, own or raise roosters. This is considered disturbing the peace.
Over the years, roosters became a greater nuisance than most residents could tolerate. Thus, the roosters have been labeled as disturbances of the peace.
City Council order reads: “No dog shall be in a public place without its master on a leash.”
Actually, this law is common in just about every state. In this case, however, the wording is rather uncommon.
